While a Communications Assistant at the JHU Department of Physics and Astronomy, I was given the opportunity to write an article for the Department’s annual newsletter. The prior year, I had done some InDesign layout–and was given more to do in the 2018 edition. This time around, I was eager to actually get to write.

Exoplanets are fun. They let us imagine worlds (habitable or not) beyond our own. It is a unique field that combines elements of Astronomy with Earth and Planetary Sciences. The department is lucky to have not one, but two professors who study exoplanets in vastly different ways.

After interviewing Prof. David Sing and Prof. Kevin Schlaufman, and conducting my own research, I produced this article for the JHU Department of Physics and Astronomy’s Annual Newsletter.
