Launched by students in Johns Hopkins University’s Program in Museums and Society, The Hopkins Exhibitionist strives to illuminate diverse perspectives within the museum and about the museum. The Hopkins Exhibitionist considers issues, opinions, and points of view on approaches to museums and their contents. I started as an editor for the Hopkins Exhibitionist, and took over as Editor-in-Chief from 2017-2018.

As part of my position, I edited articles and managed the website–which included a complete redesign (logo, website, branding etc.), giving a new life to the existing logo/art.

The Hopkins Exhibitionist also saw a brief moment in the limelight in 2018, when an article written by Casey Haughin went viral. The article, titled “Why museum professionals need to talk about Black Panther” was viewed over 100,000 times over the course of a week.

I managed incoming comments (which at times became rowdy), emails from local newspapers, and other inquiries, helping Casey manage her article’s success.
